Kelso Simon

Kelso was born in Newfoundpool and is a keen supporter of charitable causes in the city and beyond.

He is community-minded and proud to live in Leicester and his work has always found him helping those in need.

After supporting people with mental health problems, he now works for Leicester’s partnership school service. This involves assisting children who experience difficulties at school. Kelso’s team works to reduce the number of exclusions and ensures students are either in school or in alternative education.

He helps children from all backgrounds and those experiencing a range of issues, from mild learning difficulties to situations at home that may affect their behaviour.

Kelso is a successful published author and his debut novel A Monster’s Tale was one of his publisher Book Guild’s top five best sellers.

In his spare time he coaches boxing to young people and likes to walk pug Leo with his family.
