Sarah Palmer – Granville has dedicated her expertise to Leicester Children’s Holidays in the development of our new visitor centre.
Sarah, who is based in Earl Shilton, Leicestershire, has been an interior designer for 26 years and has worked for retail clients, holidays parks and a Midlands brewery.
For 18 months Sarah has run her own business SPG Interior Design and collaborates with architects and consultants on hospitality and office projects.
More recently her focus has switched to helping companies transition through to agile working practices; remote working, coworking spaces and the evolution of the office itself are all key considerations Sarah is exploring.
We were introduced to Sarah and she first came to our Highcross shopping centre space in December 2019. Sarah took the time to listen to the charity’s rich history and what we want to achieve and saw immediately how our space could be transformed to be the welcoming visitor centre we wanted to create.
During the next nine months Sarah gave her design ideas and supported us as we worked with local companies to make the visitor centre a reality; we opened in December 2020 following the second lockdown.
Leicester Children’s Holidays charity want to thank Sarah very much for her knowledge and expertise; she has always been on the other end of the phone and we will always be grateful for that. We look forward to a continued partnership with Sarah.
