Read Zak’s story
Zak is a carer for his mum, who suffers with a chronic illness, he has a lot of responsibility for
such a young person and worries for his mum’s health.
The holiday to Norfolk enabled him to be a child again, he took part in all the activities and really pushed himself to face his fear of heights, he would love to join us again for another break.
Read Olivia's Story
Olivia was referred to us following the sad loss of her dad. She had struggled at school in the months following his death, with the loss causing her lots of anxiety.
She came away with us for a 4-night break and loved the time she had. She especially loved the bike riding and made some great friendships. School reported a different child returning in September and how Olivia still talks about the holiday today.
Read Toby's Story
Toby lives with his mum (single parent) and despite having two jobs there isn’t much spare money for activities for Toby, meaning he often has to miss out. We have helped pay for 2 school
trips recently, which hugely helped the family budget.
He has also signed up to our Broadening Horizons project and now enjoys his martial arts class every week fully funded. His martial arts tutor says he shows real potential and passion for the activity, whilst his mum is overwhelmed with the
support our charity is giving Toby and says how he comes home smiling every Thursday (the day of
